Writer's Workshop Tools

On this page you will find some resources that you may use in your own classroom.  Some I created myself and others I adapted from other inspirational teachers.  I believe the more we share, the better we will become at what we do.

Click on the link above for more information. July 11, 2008 Many links have been updated and I have also added a new page about the many uses of old and broken crayons. Check out the cool things you can do with them! I've also added links to my favorite FREE font websites. July 5, 2008 I have just added an entire page of website links for teachers. Check it out today! July 2, 2008 Just added Poetry posters under the Literacy Station link. Enjoy. July 1, 2008 Check out the great new editing sheet created by Pam Graetz under the Literacy Station link. June 30, 2008 - What's New: I finally have had time to go in and create a classroom economy page. There you can see what I do in my own classroom as well as find links to resources and forms. June 20, 2008 - What's New: I have updated the Homeworkopoly page to show something new that I do, which allows the kids to actually purchase the properties like in the real Monopoly game! I've also added a Vista Print page where you can find the many different creations I have made from this great company. June 4, 2008 - What's New: I have added a new page called "Special Project Ideas." Check there for some fun activities / projects you can do with your class. May 27, 2008 - What's New: I have updated the list of classroom webpages. I noticed I had a few pages that were listed that no longer existed. If you know of a teacher's webpage that you think I should add, please e-mail me. Thank you. July 21, 2007 - What's New: I added some great new resources under the "Literacy Stations" link - including Genre Posters, Vocabulary Note worksheet, Scrabble Tiles, Top Ten Activity and Dollar Word activities. Hope you find them useful. July 20, 2007 - What's New: I have added a page about my binder organization called .K.N.I.G.H.T.S. Binders. I hope to have pictures showing everything that is included in my binders up soon. You may know of these great organizational tools commonly known as Moose Binders.
